Family outing to see wildlife in their natural habitat
Located 160KM from Nairobi, Lake nakuru national park is in the rift valley. The park is a birdwatchers paradise, the common ones being the millions of pink flamingos that flock the lake.
It's also home to the endangered black rhino, hippos, buffalos, zebras and a range of predators including lions and leopards.
The park is 118sq.km with a wide ecological diversity and varried habitats ranging from the lake itself to the surrouding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Being home to about 550 plant species, the park has a lot to offer for a family weekend or an out of town road trip.
Early in in morning between 07:00 HRS-08:00 HRS you will be picked from your hotel in or any central pickup place within Nairobi.
This is an express Drive to lake nakuru with a stopover at the viewpoint on Nairobi-Nakuru highway, you'll arrive at the park intime for a morning game drive. you'll have a short luch break either in lake nakuru lodge or a picknic lunch within the park and there after a short game drive.
You'll leave the park later in the afternoon and head to lake Naivasha for a short sight seeing and an option of a boat ride, before driving back to Nairobi to arrive early in the evening.
